Celebrating your freedom from birth control!

The no-scalpel vasectomy is the superior, permanent male sterilization option, offering a safer, quicker (15-minute), and more cost-effective alternative to female surgical sterilization (tubal ligation) and eliminating the risks associated with hormonal birth control and condoms.

What types of permanent sterilization does the medical community have to offer? Really, only two. Tubal ligation or Vasectomies. What are the advantages to getting a vasectomy? Vasectomies offer a permanent solution to sterilization that is safer and more cost effective than a tubal ligation. Here at The Y Factor,  we offer a 15 minute, in office, no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy that you can drive yourself home the SAME DAY! Not very many tubal ligations can offer a comparable procedure experience. For you guys, a tubal ligation is a surgical procedure under general anesthesia that takes longer, has a longer recovery period and carries more risks. Why put your partner through that?

Wait, but my partner is on birth control! Generally speaking, birth control carries risks including but not limited to weight gain, bloating, headache, abdominal pain, breast tenderness, thrombosis, and endometrial cancer. Ask your partner if she likes being on birth control, most women will probably tell you no. Let’s get your partner off this list.

Condoms
We can discuss condoms but I think most guys know the downsides to condoms. I think that most guys would opt not to use them if they didn’t need to. Application time… decreased sensation… risk of failure… you get the jist of it.

What’s up with this no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy?
This option actually carries lower risk than the incisional technique alternative. Lower rates of infection and lower rates of bruising.

What we are offering you is freedom from the bondage of birth control and condoms. Don’t make your partner go in to “take one for the team”. We got you. Stop by one of our five locations for an evaluation and to discuss any other questions you may have. It’s time you #BEHERHEROGOTOZERO!
