- Prostate monitoring as indicated.
Monitoring
Baseline labs → recheck at 6–8 weeks → every 3–6 months (TT/FT, hematocrit, PSA as appropriate, lipids).
Fertility note
Discuss HCG or off-ramp strategies if future fertility is a priority.

A semen analysis performed on an ejaculated semen sample provides the necessary information to determine fertility. This sample provides information on the number of sperm, swimming ability or motility, and whether they are the right shape to cause a pregnancy.
