Precision-Based Hormone Optimization at The Y Factor
The Y Factor Difference: Root-Cause Medicine Meets Modern TRT
We don’t prescribe testosterone until we understand why it’s low. Our providers conduct an in-depth clinical evaluation and advanced hormone lab panel to uncover the source of the problem — whether hormonal, metabolic, lifestyle-related, or pituitary.
Your initial assessment includes:
- Total and free testosterone, LH, FSH, estradiol, prolactin, SHBG, thyroid, DHEA, cortisol
- Sleep, nutrition, and stress review
- Medication and health history screening
- Optional fertility assessment
By addressing underlying factors first, we can determine whether TRT is appropriate or if natural testosterone restoration (TET) is the better starting point.
Our TRT Membership Packages
Hormone Optimization: PERFORMANCE – from $129/mo

Includes:
- Comprehensive evaluation and advanced lab analysis
- Individualized testosterone dosing and administration plan
- Ongoing provider oversight and dosage optimization
- Flexible in-office or at-home injection options
- Regular follow-up and lab monitoring every 6–12 weeks, then every 3–6 months
This program provides continuous accountability and real-time adjustments to keep you performing at your best.
How TRT Works
We use testosterone cypionate or enanthate, administered via intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SubQ) injection.
Our goal: reach optimal physiologic levels — never “bodybuilder” doses — for sustainable energy, libido, and vitality.
Treatment Schedule:
- Dosed weekly or biweekly
- Lab monitoring at 6–12 weeks, then every 3–6 months
- Adjustments based on both lab values and symptoms
Expected Benefits
Men treated with medically supervised TRT typically experience:
- Improved energy and focus
- Increased libido and sexual performance
- Enhanced lean muscle mass and reduced body fat
- Better mood, motivation, and sleep quality
- Strengthened bone and cardiovascular health
Risks and Safety Monitoring
TRT is safe when properly prescribed and monitored. Possible side effects include:
- Polycythemia (elevated hematocrit)
- Mild acne or oiliness
- Fluid retention or mild blood pressure increase
- Fertility suppression (reversible with appropriate adjuncts)
- Prostate monitoring as clinically indicated
Our structured follow-up plan ensures early detection and proactive management of any side effects.
Fertility Considerations
Because exogenous testosterone can suppress sperm production, fertility preservation is a key part of our counseling process.
Options include:
- hCG co-therapy to maintain testicular function
- Transition to natural testosterone therapy (TET) if fertility is a priority
- Long-term “off-ramp” protocols to safely restore natural hormone production
Our Process: Built for Long-Term Success

- Comprehensive Evaluation & Labs – Obtain a complete hormonal and metabolic profile
- Personalized Plan – Receive a treatment strategy tailored to your body and lifestyle

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do to get started?
Take the Men’s Health Quiz found on this website. If the questions you answered affect your health in any way, call us at The Y Factor or make an appointment online and our specialists will evaluate your urological health and start a specialized treatment plan specifically for you.
Why does The Y Factor specialize in men’s health?
The Y Factor was named for the Y-chromosome, the factor that determines male characteristics. Our facilities were created by men, for men, with the expertise of male urological health. Our team believes in finding the underlying source of men’s health problems so they can customize a specific treatment plan to improve current health issues along with one’s overall quality of life.
Are the treatments/surgeries at The Y Factor painful?
We take all precautions to ensure you are in as little pain as possible. Many of our patients have reported low pain levels, around 1-2 on a scale of 10.
How do I check if I am fertile?
A semen analysis performed on an ejaculated semen sample provides the necessary information to determine fertility. This sample provides information on the number of sperm, swimming ability or motility, and whether they are the right shape to cause a pregnancy. You can order an at-home semen analysis kit from us here.
